GLOW Community Gives Back! New Year Blessing!

Happy New Year from GLOW-God Leading Our Wellness! We are thrilled to share with you the heartwarming experience we had over the holidays, as our GLOW Community participants came together to collect brand new and like new shoes for the ladies at the City Rescue Mission.

The purpose behind this shoe collection was twofold. Firstly, we wanted to ensure that the ladies had proper footwear to wear to our GLOW classes. We believe that having the right shoes can make a significant difference in one's comfort and ability to fully engage in physical activity. By providing them with new shoes, we wanted to remove any barriers that may hinder their participation in our empowering fitness classes.

But the shoes also held a deeper meaning. They were meant to serve as a reminder to the ladies of the importance of who they choose to follow. Just as they would carefully select the right shoes for their physical well-being, we wanted them to remember the significance of following God and staying on the right path in their lives. The shoes became a symbolic reminder of their journey towards wellness, both physically and spiritually.

To celebrate the New Year and present the shoes, we organized a special party for the ladies at the City Rescue Mission. The event was filled with dancing, games, and healthy snacks, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere. It was an honor for us to be able to provide these ladies with new shoes and to witness to them.  We reminded them that God and GLOW love them!

We are incredibly grateful to our GLOW Community participants who generously donated these brand new and like new shoes. Their kindness and compassion have made a significant impact on the lives of these ladies, reminding them that they are supported and cared for.

At GLOW, we believe in the power of community, and this shoe collection was a beautiful example of how we can come together to make a difference. We are committed to continuing our mission of leading others towards Jesus and inspiring them to embrace a healthy, active lifestyle.
